Age Concern Wairarapa is a community based, not-for-profit organisation dedicated to the wellbeing of older persons in the Wairarapa community. We are committed to promoting wellbeing, rights, respect and dignity for seniors.
He pāpori e whai whakaarohia ana, e whakanuitia ana, e tautokona ana, e whai mana anahoki te hunga kaumātua.
Our purpose is for older people/kaumātua to live a valued life in an inclusive society.
We are a broadly skilled team of staff and volunteers who offer a range of services to older people and their families that are appropriate, accessible and affordable. We work in partnership with funders, public services, community organisations and individuals to achieve this. We work to inform local bodies and organisations on issues of concern for older people, ensuring older people are heard and represented in their communities.
Age Concern Wairarapa is part of the Age Concern New Zealand network of councils located throughout the North and South Islands.
Our office is based at 14B Queen Street, Masterton and we provide our range of services across Wairarapa from Eketahuna to Cape Palliser. Give us a call or pop in for a visit.
